On May 14th, 2010 I was playing with our friend’s full grown Labrador when the dog snapped at me and bit me on my face. His canine teeth ripped through my cheek while his upper and lower teeth tore at my skin. I was left with a puncture wound and a two inch gash along with several deep scratches. I was told by the ER doctor that I would have several scars. My niece had used Mederma^® for Kids™ for a scratch and had good success with it so I decided to try it on my face. I started using Mederma^® Scar Cream Plus SPF 30 immediately after losing my last scab which was about at two weeks. I used it as directed for 10 weeks. I went back to my family physician and she was surprised at my recovery rate. In 10 weeks my scars were a lot less noticeable. I cannot believe how this product works.

 

I have a scar on my ankle from an injury. I had 14 stitches and it really became an ugly scar. I've used Mederma^® before for small imperfections. I love your product! Mederma^® is the only scar cream I have found that works. I never had acne as a teenager, but much to my sorrow I got adult acne really bad right after I turned 30 years old. I had chicken pox scars, and my pharmacist recommended Mederma^®. I used it as the instructions stated, and within 4 weeks I saw improvement in my scars from the pox. I had scars on my face from where the scabs had formed but from regular use of this the scars are improving and you can hardly tell I even had them. Chicken pox sucks. A year and a half ago I underwent surgery along the right side of my neck. I burned myself on the oven and it left me with a scar on my forearm! I heard about Mederma® Scar Cream and did some research and this is what I chose to try for my scar. So glad I did because it really works, people! I followed the instructions and within the first 3 weeks I saw my scar starting to look better. I continued using it for another 6 weeks. I had an accident in 2010 which involved multiple facial surgeries. The main area involved was above my left eyebrow. This laceration had multiple stitches and resulted in a scar. Hi Mederma, My name is Melissa and I am 35 years old. I'm mixed black and white and I have had a scar in the middle of my upper chest since I was about 21. I wish I had taken before and after pictures of my burn scar! I was using a hair straightener when I accidentally burned my neck. I was horrified at the burn and knew that it would absolutely leave a scar. I went in search of a scar cream at my local pharmacy and saw several but I decided on the Mederma^®Cream with SPF 30. I was doubtful so I did not take pictures or even think I would get the results that I did. In a matter of about three months my 2 inch scar was already fading! I kept using Mederma^® three times a day especially after showers and it has now been about 9 months and I ‘m seeing drastic improvement in the appearance of my scar! I had a bad accident as a young girl. When I was in sixth grade I fell on my face while rollerblading and broke my nose and gushed blood. So I went to the emergency room. I have been using Mederma^® Scar Cream for some time now. I’m seeing great improvement in my acne scars. I used to wear many layers of concealer and foundation, but now I need less make up to hide my scars since they have lightened considerably. I’m really happy with the product, it really works.
