"I was training for a Labor Day 31 mile run when the person in front of me fell off her bike. I can't come to a complete start at 30mph so I had few choices to make, hit her (she was on the ground), hit the bike or pull out in front of a car. Nevertheless, I hit the bike and of course I was thrown and knocked out. When I woke my face was covered in blood. My sunglasses didn't break but the force of them against my face broke my nose and cut me all the way around my left eye and the left side of my face was covered with road burn. Right before Christmas in 2010 I fell down icy stairs and hit my face directly on cement. I cut my lips and the skin on and beneath my nose and broke a couple of teeth. It was a very painful ordeal, but the most distressing part was that my face was injured for the holiday, and my last semester as an undergrad. I had a pretty bad scar on my arm when I was in the 6th grade...it covered almost my entire wrist...I thought it looked hideous. My mom discovered Mederma^® Scar Gel and figured why not try it?
