I feel like my legs are always ugly from scars. The Mederma^® Scar Gel has been working fantastically. I was hesitant about using Mederma^® Scar Gel, because I have sensitive skin but it worked and was easy on my skin.

"On August 2nd, 2008 I was assaulted and left with 3 scars on my face. The first two are about 1 inch long, both on my forehead. The last one is the one that I knew would change my life. It is the biggest scar on my face and is 4 inches long. My face literally hung down, severed all the way down to my temporalis muscle. From the arch of my eyebrow to my hairline right above my ear. My fiancé and I had gone over to his friends’ house in April 2010. Their bigger dog was sitting on top of the couch with its owner and child watching TV. The dog jumped off the couch and lunged at me - it didn't know me and saw me as a threat, it was being protective. In any case, it bit me on my left upper thigh area and ran off back into the house almost as soon as it did bite. I was wearing 2 layers - jeans, and leggings - and although the bite hurt very badly, when I looked down my jeans were not torn apart, and there was only a very, very small hole where maybe one tooth got through, and I did not see any blood (yet). I had never been bitten by a dog before in my life, so despite the pain I assumed that since there was little damage to my jeans that I might need a band-aid at worst. The dog’s owner came running almost immediately to ask if it had bitten me and if I was okay, and I said (fully believing it as I was saying it) that I was okay, that I just needed to sit down - and almost right after I said that I fell to the ground in pain. My fiancé came running and got me inside to a safe room and looked at the damage. When I saw his face, I thought he was just putting me on, and when he said I was going to need stitches and that I needed to get to the hospital, NOW, I thought he was trying to mess with me. So I looked down expecting to prove him wrong, and immediately went into shock. My first dog bite - and I can see into my leg, there was a hole, and I'm not sure how that happened with how little damage there was to my 2 layers of pants. At the hospital they wouldn't stitch it because it was an animal bite and there was a risk of infection from bacteria, so they cleaned it, dressed it, and sent me home with care instructions and a prescription. After 6 weeks when it finally healed, I started looking for something to make the scar less visible, and decided to try Mederma^® Scar Gel as soon as I was able to. I have been very pleased with the results so far. I would definitely recommend (and have in fact already recommended) Mederma^®.

"I have always had mild acne and when I break out it always tends to scar which makes them stand out more. I have been using Mederma^® for years and it really works! My scars have improved and it is very impressive. I also used to have two burns on the side of my lip. When I used it on those, the scars looked less noticeable. I have used both the gel and the cream but I prefer the cream because it has sun screen in it so it helps prevent the sunburn. The only con is that it is a tad bit pricey but the tube lasts months (depending on how big the scar is). I love Mederma^® and I will not use anything else!"

I love your product! Mederma^® is the only scar cream I have found that works. I never had acne as a teenager, but much to my sorrow I got adult acne really bad right after I turned 30 years old. I also have OCD, and the acne and OCD don't go well together for me! I Pick and pick and pick! I hate myself for doing it but I only go through "MOMENTS" so I used Mederma^® to reduce the appearance of the scars. It works every time! Mederma^® helped make my skin beautiful again! I wanted to say thanks for this wonderful product of yours. I had Thyroid surgery a little over a month ago and as a result had a pretty nasty looking scar afterward. Honestly, it looked like an inch and a half fat red worm had attached itself to my neck. I talked to the Surgeon about using a scar cream and though he didn't specifically recommend doing it, I wanted all the help that I could because I didn't want my grandkids to ask me about that worm attached to my neck for the rest of my life. I have been faithfully using Mederma^® Scar Cream daily since my surgery, and I can see a huge improvement in the appearance of my scar and it has only been 6 weeks. The redness is now gone. It has only been 6 weeks and I have a lot of faith that it will drastically reduce into the crease of my neck within a year. I have a friend who had the same type of surgery about 5 years ago, and the scar she has leftover is horrible. I don't know if it was the difference between surgeons who operated on us, or if it is because she didn't use any type of scar cream, but side by side, hers looks terrible. I noticed such great results that I started to use it on another inch and a half scar that was old, from a past surgery removing a large cyst in my wrist. I have seen pretty dramatic results in the month I have been using Mederma^® Scar Cream on this scar and the redness has now really lightened. This scar barely shows anymore, and I can only attribute those results to Mederma. The photo I submitted shows that the scar has closed up and that most swelling is gone on the one side of in only 6 weeks. As a young adult I fell into the excitement of tattoos and piercings. Some of these markings I have had removed and most left scars.
