Meet Dr. Gilberg-Lenz
Dr. Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz is a board-certified OB/GYN and owns a private practice in Beverly Hills, Calif. She is especially interested in women's empowerment and public education, and she appears frequently as an expert in women's and integrative health on television, online, and in print media.
After completing her undergraduate education at Wesleyan University she went onto Mills College for her postbaccalaureate in premedical studies. She received her medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. In addition, she has worked at San Francisco's well-known Haight Ashbury Free Clinic and supervised midwives and residents at an inner-city hospital in Los Angeles. Dr. Gilberg-Lenz has also taught at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and participated in the National Ayurvedic Medical Association as well as several childbirth conferences.
Dr. Gilberg-Lenz is the founder of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's Green Committee and is deeply committed to the promotion of healing that involves individuals, families, communities, and the planet. She currently lives with her husband and two children in Los Angeles in a "green" renovated home with a sustainable native plants garden and organic urban mini-farm.
