Being a new mom is sure to bring you lots of joy, but your thoughts may also turn to getting your body back to its pre-pregnancy state, especially your skin. A postpartum skincare routine can help improve your skin, but as a busy new mom, you probably don ’t have time for an extensive regimen. Here I’ve included my top 5 tips that you can incorporate into your daily routine to help you maintain that healthy glow!

  1. Women who have recently had a baby are often highly concerned about stretch marks and what they can do to improve the appearance of their skin. If this is a major concern for you, you ’re not alone – 9 out of 10 women develop stretch marks during pregnancy. There are a number of factors that increase the likelihood of developing stretch marks, including skin complexion, age, weight and family history. Using a topical cream can help reduce the appearance of stretch marks.   5. Exercising is helpful for more than just getting back to your pre-baby weight. Incorporating exercise into your daily routine will help keep skin toned and bounce back from the stretching that occurred during pregnancy.
